The Print

What every print has in common

Paper

Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308gsm. A 100% cotton rag fine art paper with a smooth matte surface. It holds deep blacks and fine detail without glare, and it is the paper the work is proofed and approved on.

Border

All prints include a 1-inch border on every side. The border carries the signature and leaves room for matting, so the print arrives ready to frame properly.

Sizes

Sizes listed are paper sizes: the listed size is the size of the sheet. The image itself is printed smaller, inside the 1-inch border on every side. Each image is offered only at the sizes listed for it, chosen for how the photograph presents best.

Signature

Limited edition prints are hand-signed and numbered in the border. Open edition prints are signed.

Production

Prints are produced by Bay Photo Lab and shipped directly to you. Each order is printed, inspected against the approved proof, and sent out by the lab.

Framing

Prints are sold unframed. Framing is available through Studio Seven Arts Gallery; see the note at the bottom of this page.

Limited Editions

An edition of 12. When they're gone, they're gone.

Each limited edition image is printed in an edition of 12 prints in total, shared across the two sizes offered for that image. A print numbered 7 of 12 is 7 of 12 whether it is the entry size or the larger size. Every limited edition print is hand-signed and numbered in the border and arrives with a signed certificate of authenticity bearing a holographic seal.

Open Editions

The place to start collecting

Open edition prints are signed and printed to the same paper and border standard as the limited editions. Each image is offered in one size only, the size its proportions call for, at one price across the tier.
